“WUSTL Circulator,” an new Android app developed by Oliver Jones, a WUSTL graduate student in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, has been published in collaboration with Washington University in St. Louis. The app aims to make riding and checking the schedule of the circulator simpler and easier. The Circulator shuttle is available to ride free of charge for all WUSTL students, faculty and staff.
Circulator location information is provided through collaboration between WUSTL Parking and Transportation Services and Information Services and Technology. GPS units installed on the Circulator shuttles relay live location data to a WUSTL server, which then feeds data to the app. The app displays both your current location as well as the location and direction of the circulator (indicated by a small green dot.) The app updates the current location of the circulator every 5 seconds to provide you with a true real-time tracking experience.
Download the WUSTL Circulator app for free and start enjoying real-time Circulator data today! Washington University is proud to continue collaborating with our students to bring you these unique student-developed applications.
